It seems like you can't separate Sun from the culture of comic books and gaming. Growing up in Korea, she learned how to read and write through comic books. With her first NES system she gained a sense of direction - which might not have been the best tutor since she gets lost easily while reading maps. Sun delayed her plan of eloping to the realm of comic art to study Illustration at Parsons School of Design. After getting her BFA, she worked as a freelance graphic designer. In her free time she likes to publish doujinshi (fan comics), and talk about fighter jet specs with her brother. Her life-long passion of Gundam may label her as a mecha geek, but beware- she also enjoys books such as Ichi the Killer.
