Pick up a menu, wipe down the table, and get ready to keep the paying customers happy. In Diner Dash, you take the role of Flo, ex-corporate executive and aspiring restaurateur, as she serves up food, drinks, and good vibrations to wave after wave of grumpy customers. Diner Dash is a five star hit, landing in top spots on game portal sites like Shockwave.com, Trygames, RealArcade, and Big Fish Games. The Design Diner Dash is the first downloadable game we created, and is still our most popular title. We kicked around the idea about a game on the theme of serving food for a few years before we started production, and some early ideas that led to Diner Dash included a game called Bust-A-Gut about making sushi. That led to a concept called Lunch, which eventually became Diner Dash, establishing the “spinning plates time management” gameplay genre as a mainstay of casual games. Comics artist Amy Ganter designed Flo and the other game characters, which have been a big part of the game’s success.
